DogFest – 8th-9th June

Finally – a day out for your fur babies! The UK’s favourite dog-friendly festival returns to Burghley with a whole host of activities to keep you and your little ones entertained. From hay bale racing and agility activities to advice and training tips from canine experts, there’s lots to see and do. If you’re a dog fanatic, bring the whole family to DogFest for an unforgettable day out!

South Gardens Summer Opening – 1st-7th July

Are you a fan of historic houses and stunning gardens? Experience the rare opening of Burghley’s beautiful south gardens! Featuring an ‘extensive collection of roses, colourful herbaceous borders, and beautiful wildflowers’ – paradise awaits at Burghley Estate.

Battle Proms Concert – 13th July

A long-standing favourite of the Stamford locals. The longest running picnic proms series in the UK is back! Be wowed by fireworks, thrilled by a Spitfire aerial display, and swooned by a sensational orchestra. Don’t miss the Red Devils parachute team, firing canons and more – there’s something for everyone at this iconic event.

Classic Ibiza – 27th July

Party under the stars to Classic Ibiza anthems in a family-friendly environment in the beautiful grounds of Burghley House. Experience a symphony for your senses with the Urban Soul Orchestra, world-class DJs, and acclaimed vocalists, guaranteeing a memorable night for all ages. Enjoy a chill-out set with picnics and drinks, followed by DJ Goldierocks and a lively performance that turns Burghley into a magical alfresco celebration, complete with lasers.

Children’s Workshop – Chinese Dragon Dance – 2nd August

A great cultural experience for kids! In this fun interactive session, children will learn a Chinese dance routine from a professional dancer on the beautiful front lawns of Burghley House. The routine will feature a traditional dragon, parasols, and fans. The workshops are split between ages 5 -7-year-olds and 8-13-year-olds – book here.

Kintsugi Workshop – 14th August

Looking for something a little different? Kintsugi is an ancient Japanese art form that honours the beauty of imperfection and impermanence. In this three-hour workshop, you’ll choose from a selection of broken ceramics to have a go at repairing. You’ll also gain an insight into the profound history, methodology, and philosophy behind this beautiful art form.

Summer Fine Food Market – 24th-26th August

Another fantastic returning event is the Summer Fine Food Market. Burghley’s picturesque courtyards will come alive over the August Bank Holiday with a variety of artisan stalls and street food vendors from the region and beyond. Explore a world of tastes and flavours, including Persian street food, wood-fired pizzas, locally distilled gins, and award-winning ciders.
