We’re very pleased to share that this year, MoreStore Self Storage has become a proud sponsor of Deep In Kindness, a local charity based in Deeping St James. Their incredible work brings support, joy, and practical help to some of the most vulnerable people in our community – and we’re honoured to play a small part in that mission.
Our sponsorship is currently helping fund a very special monthly game at their Autism/Neurodiversity Friendship Group, which meets every Wednesday at 6pm at the Deep In Kindness Community Hub. This group offers a safe, welcoming space for neurodiverse adults to connect, relax, and build friendships – and the new monthly games are quickly becoming a highlight for many of the regular attendees.
The Community Hub itself is a brilliant new space, opened earlier this year on Bridge Street in Deeping St James. It’s home to a cosy café and a fantastic programme of activities and learning opportunities – from CV writing and cooking classes to DIY training and ‘knitting and nattering’. The team at Deep In Kindness have created a warm, inclusive environment that’s already become a vital resource for many in The Deepings.
Deep In Kindness works year-round to bring relief and support to people facing tough times. Their efforts include redistributing children’s items and household essentials, delivering emergency baby food, and even helping housebound families by collecting and delivering prescriptions. They put together Christmas hampers, host dinners for isolated adults, and offer help with everything from form filling to emotional support.
