We offer secure, dry storage space with unlimited 24/7 access for both personal and business-use. Typically, our customers store furniture, documents, tools, or anything that they do not have space to store at their home or business premises.

Perishable goods – Food and perishable goods can only be stored if they are securely packed and protected – this particularly applies to food or anything that can decompose and will attract vermin.

Animals – Birds, fish, animals, or any other living creatures.

Combustible materials – Flammable materials or gases such as gas, compressed gases, paint, petrol, oil or cleaning solvents.

Volatile substances – Chemical, radioactive materials and biological agents, toxic waste, asbestos or any other materials of a potentially dangerous nature.

Offensive objects – Firearms, ammunition, explosives and weapons.

Illegal goods – Illegal substances and illegal items or goods obtained in an unlawful manner.

Odorous items – Any items that emit fumes or smells.

Our self storage rooms start from 16 sq ft and go up to 250 sq ft. For larger sizes, view the letting space at our site, King Street Industrial Estate.

As we have customers moving in and out daily, the best way to check availability is to get in touch.

Yes, you can change to a larger or smaller space, subject to availability.

The amount you pay will depend on the size of space that you require. Please get in touch for a no obligation quote. We take your payments on a monthly basis and will refund any unused storage fee when you are finished with the storage space. See our latest pricing here.

Yes, we hold a refundable deposit equal to one week’s storage fee, which is payable when your storage starts.

Contents insurance is not included in our fee, you should obtain your own cover.

For initial payments, we accept cash, cheque, or credit/debit card payments. All subsequent payments are taken by direct debit. Cheques should be made out to Workplace Property. MoreStore Self Storage is the trading name of Workplace Property.

If you wish to proceed, visit our premises and complete our simple storage licence agreement, bringing proof of identification (e.g. a driving licence or passport), proof of address (e.g. a utility bill no more than three months old) and suitable means of payment.

You can book and reserve a room in return for a £10 booking fee which is then deducted from your first storage payment.

Note: we will hold empty rooms for up to two weeks.

Subject to room availability, you can start storing immediately once you have viewed the unit, and once your agreement is signed, you have provided proof of identity and address, and we have taken your initial payment.

You can end your storage at any time by giving us one week’s notice. We will refund any unused storage fee.

You will be the only key holder to your self storage room. You can either use your own padlock or purchase one from us.

We will provide you with a key card to operate the automated gates at our site and a key fob to access the self storage warehouse within which your specific space is located.

Our site is protected with CCTV, a perimeter security fence, and an automated gate system. In addition, we have intruder alarms located around the site which are also linked to our monitoring station in Peterborough.

Our office is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm and staff are always on hand to help if you have a problem or question. You can contact our team here.

If you have a problem accessing the site out of office hours, our security company can be contacted for assistance, by phoning the contact number on the gate. A password is required when speaking to our security company, this will be provided when you move in.

For self storage rooms, you will have unlimited access to your items 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can come and go as you please.

Yes, we have ample parking and good access for cars, vans, removal lorries and even HGVs.

We can provide trolleys for use 24/7. There is also a goods lift for anything too heavy to carry up the stairs.

If you have finished your storage period and do not wish to extend your time with us, we will require you to contact our team via email or phone to provide at least one week’s notice. You will need to drop your key and card off at the office to receive your security deposit and any unused rent. Also, if you would prefer us to pay back into your bank account, then we will require your bank details.

Should you fail to provide us at least one week’s notice before you move out, then one week’s rent will be deducted from your security deposit.
